LifeShare RI is pleased to announce the addition of Sue Mancini as our Regional Director.  Sue is also a Registered Nurse and brings a lot of experience to our team.  We also like to welcome Natalie Maddox as our Lead LifeCoach.  Natalie has a significant employment history in the developmental disabilities community.  We look forward to these folks in helping to support our LifeShare individuals and providers!

Rhode Island would also like to welcome new providers and individuals into our services.  We recently  added six new Shared Living programs and three new Day programs!

LifeShare Management Group, Inc. is currently recruiting Home Care Providers to provide a home and support services to an adult with developmental disabilities.

We are in immediate need of a home environment without chidlren and is accessible or could be modified for accessibility.

The individual needing support is social, easy going and likes to stay busy. This individual enjoys shopping, eating out, getting manicures and having her hair done. Specific support needs would include assistance after toiletting, cooking, cleaning, transportation to various medical appointments, assistance with taking medication, asistance and opportunities for community integration, etc. Some adults attend work or a day program during the day.

We will provide all necessary training and support with the exception of CPR and First Aid.

WE ARE IN IMMEDIATE NEED OF A FEMALE HOME CARE PROVIDER who has does not have children living in her home and who is interested in opening her home to an adult who has a developmental disability.

This person is in need of independent living support and training. Some ways you may need to offer support are in the areas of: taking their medication, hygiene, cooking, budgeting, life skills, and transportation. Some adults attend work or a day program during the day. We will provide all necessary training and support.

Adult Home Care Providers Needed (Middletown and Newport County)
We are seeking individuals and families interested in opening their homes to adults in need of independent living support. The individual would live in your home and would require his or her own bedroom. As the home care provider, you would support and assistance the individual with daily living skills, such as taking medication, hygiene, cooking, budgeting and transportation. Most individuals work during the day or go to a day program. We are seeking those open to hosting an individual on a long-term basis.
Providers are compensated through a tax free stipend which varies depending on the level of support each individual requires.
LifeShare provides training and ongoing support. This is an excellent opportunity to make a difference in someone’s life.

 LifeShare is happy to announce an addition to our support services in RI!

 
We are now offering community based day program support services in addition to our residential support services.
 
LifeShare offers qualified LifeCoaches to provide a variety of structured community based activities that satisfy the interests of the individuals we support. Our LifeCoaches also work with the individuals we support to meet their needs and achieve their goals.
 
We are excited to offer this alternative to the many facility based day programs in Rhode Island!
