Jen earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of New Hampshire and graduated with a Master of Education degree in Counseling from the University of Massachusetts, Boston. She has worked in the field of human services for eleven years and has a passion for empowering people of all abilities. Prior to working at LifeShare, she gained valuable experience working with children and families as an Intern with Children’s Hospital, Boston and as an adolescent counselor with the Key Program and Chase Home for Children. Jen has served as a member of the New Hampshire Statewide Independent Living Council, the National Rehabilitation Counseling Association and chairperson of the Area Steering Committee for the Agency for Persons with Disabilities in the Suncoast Region. After joining LifeShare in 2000, Jen had the opportunity to assist in the development and oversight of community-based services in New Hampshire and was given the opportunity to move to Florida to help bring LifeShare’s innovative model to the state and promote our mission to help individuals of all abilities reach their full potential and fulfill their dreams. “LifeShare is truly changing the lives of children, adults and families and I am proud to be a part of such a remarkable organization.” “It's not the years in your life that count.
