
Vice President of Adult Services, New Hampshire and Maine
Sara Blaine earned her Bachelor’s degree at the University of New Hampshire, specializing in Sociology. Sara minored in both Psychology and Justice studies, which aided in her path towards human services. While at UNH Sara worked as a research assistant focusing on Juvenile Fire Setting trends and patterns. She also interned at the NH Public Defender’s office as a criminal investigator and attained her private detective license. Sara returns annually to UNH to take part in the mentorship program, assisting other sociology majors reach their goals. Sara works an an advisor for “People Power” a self determination class for adults with developmental disabilities. She sits on the Human Rights Committee for One Sky Community Services and also sits on the Statewide Independent Living Committee (SILC) on the advocacy task force, where she was appointed by Governor Lynch. Sara values honesty, hard work and dedication all of which are equally valued by LifeShare as an organization. Sara’s passion to make a difference in people’s lives, to fight for independence and to help others see abilities over disabilities, is what drives her to do her best everyday.
